During the 50 years, he made over 15,000 products, most of them destined for export in the ex-Soviet space, the former Democratic Republic of Germany, Algeria, Bangladesh.
The products manufactured at UAM have participated in many missions of security and stability, maintaining peace and public order in different countries such as: Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan Following the general trend of the reconversion of the military industry, the Moreni factory also moved to the manufacture of civil products and also to the practice and development of a wide range of services. The computer-aided design and the new technologies used at Moreni (cutting of armor plates with LASER installation, tempering installation in controlled environment, MIG-MAG-WIG welding installation) ensure the materialization of projects in high quality products. To achieve all this, the factory developed a control system based on the SR EN ISO 9001 – 95 standard, UAM being accredited by the Military Certification, Accreditation and Supervision Organization since 1997.
